Renaissance Theaterworks is Milwaukee's only women-founded, women-run theatre company. Our mission is to create moving theater that awakens our recognition of what it is to be human - from classics to world premieres - with attention to women's roles onstage and off.

Located in Milwaukee's Historic Third Ward, RTW produces intimate and moving theatre at The Studio Theatre at the Broadway Theatre Center.

RTW has built a solid reputation of producing high quality, thought-provoking and entertaining theatre that has delighted critics and audiences. RTW regularly collaborates with other organizations in artistic, marketing and arts advocacy projects and is a proud member of Theatre Communications Group, Theatre Wisconsin, and Third Ward Arts Association.
