Ludwig's Lounge is located on the main floor of the Bavarian Inn, located
at 700 W. Lexington Boulevard. The lounge is just a few minutes away from downtown, Milwaukee. The lounge is part of a banquet complex that is owned by the United German Societies. We have been open to the public since 1964.

The lounge has many activities that happen through out the week, the month and also the year. We have live music, every second week of the month. On that Tuesday we have The Rhythm Aces , New Orleans Jazz that plays 6 to 9 pm with a $5 cover. On Thursday of that week, Sevastopol joins us from 7 to 10 pm with no cover. Then on Friday we feature Gunter's Good Times, a polka band with no cover.

The lounge has a stein club that anyone can join for a yearly fee. The stein club members receive a membership card with a number and a stein with a corresponding number. The membership entitles you to $1.50 off each beer. In January, we have a stein club party for the members. The stein club parties occur every other month, on the second Wednesday. During the parties, members receive half off on beers in their steins and $1 off Jagermeister shots.

Ludwig's Lounge holds many contests throughout the year. Just to name a few of the contests: a mustache contest, meatloaf contest, salsa contest, German potato salad contest and chili contest are part of the events in the lounge. The majority of the contests have two judges who decide first, second and third place. The public is always welcome to join in the fun.

Bavarian Inn likes to help the community in different ways. The lounge is a host to some of the fundraisers we hold to help various different local charitable organizations. The lounge holds an annual golf outing, which benefits the United German Societies Cultural and Education Foundation, Inc.

The lounge welcomes anyone that likes to enjoy a bit of culture with warmth and friendliness. So if you are in the neighborhood, stop in for a German or American beer, in a stein The lounge beckons you to stay and catch a soccer game or your favorite sports program.
